Playoffs 7. Misc. This weekend starts the competition and the long hard work put in by Matt, Jay and Myself (Lew) put in is about to be realized for another successful season. This success could not be realized without you and your teams and the trust you show in our league. With that said we would like to thank each and every team for looking at The Forks Summer Basketball League as your league of choice for Summer Play. We also want to wish everyone the best of luck both in the league and the playoffs. 1. The procedures for forfeiting a game are as follows: We understand from time to time your team may not be able to attend for whatever reason. All we ask is that you are courteous to all involved and first notify us at mtmosher@ptd.net and/or theguru@rcn.com. Once you have done that please go onto the schedules page and click on the team name that you are scheduled to play and either click on “Contact Us” or call them via the phone number listed so as they know not to show up for the game. As a side not, if your game is forfeited and you want to use the gym for the hour, please do. 2. Rosters – Your rosters should be online by now. If you have posted them and you do not see your players listed, be sure to log into your team site and click on “Team Properties” and be sure that “Display Player Stats” is CHECKED. 3. Trouble logging in or blank screen: This is a browser problem that I am currently working on a fix for. In the mean time there is a FAQ section listed on the left of the schedules page that will explain how to fix this. It is VERY SIMPLE and takes less than 30 SECONDS. If you don’t want to look for it here is the link as well as instructions: BE SURE TO Clear your cache and close the browser then open up a new browser BEFORE YOU TRY IT AGAIN and then it will work. Score Reporting: A reminder that the winning team is reasonable for reporting scores with 48 hours of the game start time. If you do not report the score you will receive tie for the game even if you won. Please update your player stats when reporting your scores as the program will track the division leaders. Even if you lost the game you need to go in and update your player stats so they can be included in the division stats. If you click on “Player Stats” on the left hand menu you will see what is tracked. 5. Rules – The official rules will be at every table if there are any disputes or questions. Here is the link to print for yourself: http://www.fsbball.org/rules.htm 6. Playoffs – Each division will have a minimum of 6 teams in the playoffs. In the event your division has 14 or more teams your division will have half the division in the playoffs. Example – division has 13 teams – 6 make the playoffs. Your division has 16 teams – 8 make the playoffs. 7. Misc - In the event you lose or forget your password, if you go to the login screen and click on “did you forget your password?” enter in your email address and the program will email it to you.
